BETADINE VAGINAL GEL 100GM

. Betadine Vaginal Gel is indicated for disinfection of the vagina before and after operations. It is also used in acute and chronic vaginal infections such as vaginitis, vulvovaginitis, mixed infections and trichomonal infections.

Directions to use :

Insert one applicator-full of the vaginal gel (about 5 g) every night for up to14 days, if menstruation occurs during the treatment. it is important to continue treatment during these days.

Side effects :

Betadine Vaginal Gel may produce local skin reactions although it is less irritant than iodine. The application of Betadine Vaginal Gel to large wounds or severe burns may produce systemic adverse effects eg, metabolic acidosis, hypernatraemia and impairment of renal function.
