Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits antiinflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic activities in animal models. The mechanism of action of meloxicam, like that of other NSAIDs, may be related to prostaglandin synthetase (cyclo-oxygenase) inhibition.Meloxicam is indicated for relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis andrheumatoid arthritis

Direction to Use:

The maximum recommended daily oral dose of meloxicam is 15 mg.
Meloxicam may be taken without regard to timing of meals.

Side Effects

Skin reactions.

Shortness of breath or asthma attack. 

Inflammation of the liver (hepatitis)

Jaundice.

Pain in the abdomen, loss of appetite.

Bleeding, ulceration of your digestive tract.
