It is used to prevent and treat heartburn and other symptoms caused by too much acid in the stomach (acid indigestion).

DIRECTION TO USE

Usual dose: 40 mg orally once a day at bedtime OR 20 mg orally 2 times a day, Maintenance dose: 20 mg orally once a day at bedtime, Duration of therapy: 4 weeks

SIDE EFFECTS

Headache, constipation, or diarrhea may occur
